The Big 7 Battery Cable Kit gives your 80 Series a complete electrical cable upgrade, replacing the key factory power and ground connections with high-quality, fine-strand pure copper cables. Choose 2 GA or 1/0 GA based on your current setup and how much electrical load you plan to add down the road.

What Makes It a Big 7?

Most folks are familiar with the "Big 3" electrical upgrade:

1. Alternator output to battery positive
2. Battery negative to frame/body
3. Engine ground to frame/body

The Big 7 takes that upgrade further by adding upgraded connections to the starter and fuse relay box, along with an external fuse to help protect the upgraded power circuit.

The result is a more complete upgrade to the electrical foundation of your FZJ80, with improved current capacity and fresh connections throughout.

Choose Your Cable Size

2 GA: A great choice for stock or lightly modified FZJ80s. If you're primarily looking to replace aging factory cables and improve the foundation of your electrical system, 2 GA is plenty of cable for the job.

1/0 GA: The choice for higher electrical loads and future upgrades. If you're running or planning to run a winch, auxiliary lighting, stereo, inverter, dual batteries, or other high-draw accessories, 1/0 GA gives you additional capacity for those upgrades.
